JEFF'S GALENA ADVENTURES, JUNE 12

This morning I went to Rapid City via Vanocker Canyon. There was fog! Fog always makes for good photo possiblities, so I took a few shots from this spot. I think this is the best:

Aren't the Black Hills beautiful? At least when it's green?

Did laundry, bought stuff, went up to Deadwood and talked to the mail carrier about where to put mail boxes (they finally agreed to put it ACROSS from Rosie's instead of right in front of Rosie's), went to Spearfish via the Maitland Road from Central City (a nice alternative route!), and finally came home.

Tomorrow I have to have the cabins ready for Juha, who's coming Wednesday.

Why are there seagulls around Spearfish? how come there are so many yellow butterflys this year?
