JEFF JACOBSEN'S EXCELLENT GALENA ADVENTURE, JULY 1, 2006

I kinda did little today. I went through some Scientology stuff I brought, but it was kind of boring. John stopped by, and Ken called. Lots of jeeps and ATVs going through Galena.

I went to Deadwood tonight and lost $25 to the one-armed bandits. But the Franklin hotel opened up just recently, so I thought I'd give them a bit of my money.

I walked down the other end of Main Street, and got a malt on the way back. I asked the attendant there about tourism and she thought it was a bit above last year. We talked about the HBO show some too.

I walked up to where our apartment was when I was little. Of course, it burned down, so there's just a lot. At the bottom of the hill is a station about the neighborhood, and there's a photo of our house! The house 3 doors down is for sale. I wonder if the lot is for sale, or why nobody has built there?

On the way home I decided to go a different way, so I went on the Rochford highway, then on Englewood road to Brownsville. there were SO MANY deer!!! It's amazing. I only got one decent photo, and a so-so pic of a fawn and her mom.

Ate, played with the ball, slept. A good day.
